POLICY DEPLOYMENT:
Policy Deployment, derived from Hoshin Kanri, or “policy management,” is not a Lean tool used on the factory floor, but a powerful action-and-results-oriented organizational tool to help achieve annual business plan targets by linking strategic and daily management. Compared to Management By Objective (MBO), which is more results-oriented, Policy Deployment is a live, working document and management approach that focuses the efforts of the entire organization on the process and enables results to be sustainable for the long term.

SALES TAX ANALYSIS:
With the complex regulations governing sales and use tax, many companies pay too much tax on purchases throughout the year. Through a partnership with a sales tax recovery consulting company, SCMEP offers a program to assist companies with identifying and collecting overpaid sales tax dollars, in some cases substantial sums of money.
COST SEGREGATION STUDY:
SCMEP evaluates companies’ commercial property investments to create cost segregation studies. We use a team of trained engineers to perform an on-site inventory of all physical property and structures and a certified public accountant to ensure full compliance with the IRS audit guide. A cost segregation study provides commercial real estate purchasers with tax benefits through accelerated depreciation deductions and easier tax write-offs when an asset is destroyed or becomes obsolete.
